I am a therapist because I love to watch people grow and become happier and healthier versions of themselves.
My approach to therapy is both eclectic and collaborative. Each person has a unique set of circumstances and a story that is intricately woven together by experiences. My goal is to provide a safe place of connection, education and encouragement that will allow for an organic process of growth and healing. I use therapy as a tool to guide individuals to a place of self-compassion by focusing on strengths and use a variety of techniques to assist in identifying, understanding and shifting barriers that may be impeding a life that reflects peace, purpose and is expressive of who you really are.
I truly believe, meaningful work rests in the relationship between the client and the therapist.
I completed my MSW with a Certificate in Trauma from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. I work with adults, adolescents, couples and families. I believe in the collective person: mind, body and spirit.
My areas of specialty include;
Trauma with special focus on all forms of domestic and sexual violence and abuse
